The Navy Cross Fleet is a Fleet formed and led by Military Veterans and Defense Workers and Military supporters.

The Fleet and Squads represent the major military medals of valor, bravery and sacrifice. We uphold the spirit of the men and women that have, are and to come that receive these highest honor of the United States!

This fleet operates on a Military style of command structure and communications.

By wearing the Navy Cross Fleet tag you have agreed to the following conditions.

Preamble
Any changes made to these rules will be added at the discretion of the Admins; however, officers may make a proposition to change a rule. This proposition will then be passed to the Admirals for approval or denial. Punishments for violating any of these rules will range from warnings for first offenses to medal revocations, promotion probations, demotions, and/or disablements, depending on the severity of the offense and the member's previous record; however, hacking or double-clanning will always result in immediate disablement. Since Admirals have greater responsibility than other clan members, if a general violates any rule, their punishment may be far greater than that of other members. Admirals should know better than to break the rules listed in this document.

General Fleet Rules for forum and in game

1. Real life comes first, in game Navy Cross Fleet comes first.

2. Show RESPECT to fleet members and other fleets. If you have any issues with another fleet please keep it to yourself and don't openly insult another player or fleet. If you have an issue with someone within the fleet please contact any officer about the problem. Respect your chain of command their decisions as well as every other fellow member of the Navy Cross Fleet. In this case, being what's called "BM," or bad mannered, towards any of your clan mates will most likely result in a demotion. Repeated incidents could get you disabled as well. This includes being BM’ing on the clan's voice communication server, and even the forums. Respecting your commanding officers includes following instructions from any higher ranking officer, so long as the instructions do not violate another one of the rules listed in this document.

3. Double clanning is forbidden and will result in immediate disablement from the Fleet.

4. Squadron rules may be more restrictive than the general fleet rules but not more liberal.

5. DO NOT ask or bribe others for promotions or medals. If you are worthy of a promotion or medal, you will be given it by the awarding authority. Asking or bribing for either will most likely result in a demotion. Repeated incidents could get you disabled as well.

6. DO NOT give your password to any member of the Fleet. You may be disabled from the clan if you are found doing so.

7. DO NOT post news that is irrelevant to the Fleet or its members in any way.

8. DO NOT post inappropriate pictures or any sort of degrading racial slur in member profiles or anywhere else located on the Navy Cross Fleet website or its forums.

9. DO NOT provide false information in your accounts, e.g., a false AIM address, email, smurf, etc.

10. Follow the procedure for asking of credits, points, premium items etc. Members will report those that do not follow the procedure.

11. Swearing IS ALLOWED in the forums, but use restraint and keep it civil.

12. Trial members of this Fleet are NOT allowed to ask for votes in any form. It is just another form of a clan member asking for a promotion, and will result in either negative votes or removal from the trial list if evidence this is found.

13. Members must not reveal the contents, past or current, of the promotion waiting list to other members who are of a rank too low to view the list themselves.

14. Promotions shall only be given for adequate, clan-related reasons, such as activeness in a game, helpfulness in the clan, and of course skill. Simply putting how much of an awesome person a certain member is as a reason for a promotion does not cut it.

15. Punishments can only be given with the approval of at least 2 other members. For example, an officer must not demote a member unless he has the agreement of two other officers. Members that count for punishment agreement must be of a rank such that they have the Ability to give the punishment themselves. If a member acts on his own without such agreement, the punishment may be reversed, and he may be punished himself.
If you are punished and you feel it was unjustified, you will need to contact a higher-ranking member such as a senior officer or general. They will then investigate and decide whether the punishment was appropriate.

16. Fleet members must have a forum account and fleet email account. When/if the account has not been logged into for a protracted period of time, fleet leaders shall impress the idea upon the member that it is essential for fleet communication that they log in to at least see about plans for HA and or FL. If the member continues to not make the effort to log in and also makes little other contributions, expulsion from the fleet may be considered on a case by case basis.

17. Any member who has not been seen for over 3 weeks without a prior LOA (Leave Of Absence) shall be assumed that they have no interest in the fleet and shall be kicked.

16. Follow orders of officers during HA

17. NO HACKING/EXPLOITING! Anyone caught doing so WILL be reported and BANNED from the fleet.

18. DO NOT break any rule defined in a "Terms Of Service" (TOS) agreement, also known as "End User License Agreement" (EULA),. Navy Cross Fleet upholds these agreements and documents as if it were the creator of the games itself.

Website Login Policy (DSL Policy)
If you do not log into the website and your days since login, or DSL, reaches seven days, the website will automatically demote you. If your DSL reaches eight days, the site will disable you from the clan. We encourage all of our members to log into the website at least every other day, if not every day, to prevent this from happening. We understand if you have something to do and you may not be able to log in making your DSL reach four or five days. Things happen, and real life issues are always more important, but monitor your DSL, and do not let yourself be demoted or disabled because of your own laziness. If at any point in time you think you might not be able to log into the website for six days or more because you're going out of town, starting basic training, or CANNOT access the internet for any other reason, there is a feature in every member's console that allows them to post an inactive request. Use this feature during that time; HOWEVER, we DO NOT accept inactive requests for reasons such as needing time to focus on school, family problems, taking a break from gaming, etc., because more than likely you will still be able to log into the website. For these types of situations, you must contact a general of your main game and discuss your issue with them. Inactive requests are STRICTLY for a lack of internet access ONLY, last for thirty days at a time (so they must be renewed every thirty days), and completely protect your account from any form of punishment; however, if you need more time away from the clan, you will have to renew this request yourself after the thirty days are up. They must also be approved by a Brigadier General or above before you are officially on inactive leave. Again, and this we can't stress this enough, please log into the website on a regular basis, watch your DSL, and don't get yourself demoted or disabled from the Fleet.

**** CODE OF CONDUCT ****

1. A request to leave the fleet to participate with another fleet/guild/clan/alliance will not be accepted. If you decide to do that, it will be considered as you left the fleet.

2. Cheating/Hacking - Will not be tolerated, any member caught using exploits in a game will be removed from the fleet immediately, proper proof and evidence must be presented, proving the guilt of the member

3. Navy Cross members respect and honor their fellow members as well as the community they play in, harassment/bashing of player/members shouldn't happen. In the case that you or you witness a member being harassed notify your squad leader. We understand that not everyone will agree with each other and everyone has different opinions but a member is not to openly bash another member/player.

4. If a member is reported or caught harassing/bashing another member/player and proper proof and evidence is presented then their punishments will be as fallows: A warning will be given with no second chance. The second time caught he will be expelled from the fleet.

5. Navy Cross members like to have fun just as much as the next person, but we do adhere to a chain of command there are officers and leaders of the fleet who you can turn to for almost anything, but these officers must be treated with respect and courtesy, If a member disagrees or dislikes something one of the fleet officers/leaders is doing please use the private message system notify the fleet leaders. Do not post in the forums. This goes for all members, if a member has a problem with another member please PM an officer and don't post it on the forums.

6. Navy Cross is made up of members from all over the world consisting of different cultures/nationalities/religions/race.....any member caught using racists remarks and proper proof is presented will automatically be dismissed from the fleet.

7. The forums, every member shall read the forums as much as possible, this doesn't mean you have to read it every second of every day, but looking at them before you log into Navy Field at least everyday would be nice...reading the forums is a vital part of communication and keeping up to date on issues within the fleet, being able to participate in polls and vote, and know what’s going on.

8. All rules from NF, Navy Cross Fleet supports them. All members will obey all rules from NF. As well when you are in the NF site, you are representing Navy Cross Fleet so care full on what you say. Only Officers are to make statements on regards to Navy Cross in the NF site or any other site affiliated with NF.

9. Navy Cross fleet wants members that have fun but know when it is time for a serious game face. If you have a problem, use the chain of command.

Chain Of Command
- Fleet Leader
- Fleet XO
- Fleet Command Master Chief
- Squadron CO
- Squadron XO

10. All Navy Cross events in which players have to communicate (Fleet Battles, Harbor Assaults) will be done on the Navy Cross Team Speak Server. Members do not need a microphone but they must be able to at least hear what is going on.

11. Leaving Navy Cross guidelines ...

- If you leave without warning and talking to an officer first, but do not join another fleet you will be allowed back in only if the officers deem it acceptable. This is a 2 strike system. First time you do this is your only chance.

- If you leave without warning, join another fleet, and then want to come back you will be refused 100%.

- If you give warning, try to talk to the officers, and end up leaving, it is entirely up to the officer’s discretion if they want to accept you back.

12. During Harbor Assault if you boarder hump in an area these are grounds for removal from the fleet

- 1 warning will be issued if you get caught doing it again you will be striped of your tag

13. Spamming the fleet chat with WTB / WTS or begging for items in PM is forbidden. If you must sell or buy something post it on the trade section.

- 1 warning will be issued if you do it another time expect consequences

14. Upon entry to Navy Cross you must disclose if you are a member of other fleets on other servers. If you enter another fleet on another server you must notify the Navy Cross leadership. If it is discovered that you have entered another fleet with out notifying an officer you could possibly be expelled from Navy Cross. You may also not have a second account in another fleet on the Kaiser server while in Navy Cross.

15. To support the fleet there is a Navy Cross PayPal account. The monthly dues are $5 USD. If you are unable to make you due’s payment you shall request from the members a sponsorship to cover the due’s. This fund will be used for Team Speak, Domain Name and Webhosting costs. When the fund has covered all operating expenses, the money in PayPal will be used to support buying items from the NF store to support HA, FL and internal Fleet Events. If the fleet disbands all left over money will be given to a US Veteran Charity. To ensure the integrity of the account, the Fleet Leader and Fleet Command Master Chief will post the monthly treasury report for ALL members to see.

When you are wearing the Navy Cross tag you aren't just representing the Fleet, you are representing yourself and those who have been honored with these medals of valor.

Consequences of breaking the above rules:

1st offense - warning
2nd offense - 14 day probation
3rd offense - dismissal

Silver Star, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star and Purple Heart Squads
Squad Leader Minimum Requirements: (1) BB6 and (1) CV6
Squad XO Minimum Requirements: (1) BB6 or (1) CV6

Meritorious Service Squad
Squad Leader Minimum Requirements: Working knowledge of NF over all
Squad XO Minimum Requirements: Working knowledge of NF over all

Minimum to participate in HA Harbor Tile: (1) BB6 or (1) CV6
Minimum to participate in HA non-harbor tile: (1) BB5 or (1) CV5 or (1) SS4

There will be no “minimum requirement” to be a fleet member, we only ask for a player that will be dedicated to the game, fleet and wants to learn, fight and have fun.

Weekly practice will be mandatory for members in the competitive squadrons.

Former Members that left under honorable conditions:

Any former member has the option to come back if they wish, but will return at a lower rank and with a longer promotion waiting time, except under special circumstances such as an error in disablement, a computer crash, etc., and only if there is an agreement between the Fleet/squad leaders.

Prospective officers are selected by the current officers. Just because the ranks are there does not mean that you're guaranteed any rank or even a seat as an officer. Admirals are chosen because they worked hard for the rank and showed constant dedication to the clan, among other things. If you are a possible candidate for an admial rank, it will show.
Commanders have the final say in all matters related to the Fleet.

We do not change account names, recruiters, profile records, or anything else of the sort for any member who is above the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class, unless your account was hacked or something similar. Lying about any of these circumstances will result in punishment. If you are above the rank of " Petty Officer 3rd Class l", and just want a name change for whatever reason, then you will be allowed at the discretion of a Commander to have a new account created on the site, and will start over from the rank of Recruit, as if you were a new member.
